Olympic National Park is situated in the Olympic cape of Washington in U.S.A including the 4 basic areas of the Pacific coast, alpine areas, the west side clement tropical forest and the woodland of the drier east side. This Park became a global biosphere reserve and was nominated a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site in 1981. The coastal fraction of the park is a rugged, sandy shore with a narrow piece of adjacent woodland including the Hoh river and Quileute river. The shore has continuous elongates of wilderness arraying from 16-32km. whereas some shores are primarily sandy; others are roofed with heavy swing and great boulders. The bushy overgrowth, greasy traction, tides and foggy tropical forest climate all obstruct foot traveling in this area.

The Ozette Loop is the most popular portion of this coastal narrow piece about 14km. long which is traditionally favored by the Makah from Neah Bay. The Olympic Mountains are rising inside the Olympic National Park whose ridgelines and sides are crested with gigantic, ancient glaciers.
