Wat Suthat and the Giant Swing is sited at the center of Rattanakosin Island in Bankok of Thailand. Wat Suthat Thepphawararam is the first ranking majestic temple one of the six such shrines in Thailand and was put forwarded to UNESCO in 2005 for deliberation as a upcoming World Heritage Site. The magnificence King Rama-I started the Construction of Wat Suthat & the gigantic wings in 1807 and was completed in the reign of King Rama-III in 1847. It contains the image of Buddha named Phra-Sri-Sakyamuni locally called “Sisakayamunee” which stimulated from Sukhothai state.

There are 28 Chinese pagodas at the lower porch of the base which signify the 28 Buddhas inborn on this world. The porch is fetched with unequal sculptures by scholar and sailor with the rice ships with counterweight load which China-shaped and Wihan/vihar revolves around with 156 golden films with Buddha designed. Wat Suthat also includes the Phra Buddha Setthamuni and the Phra Buddha Trilokachet in the Ubosot in Sala Kan Parien which beautify the temple more………………………….
